Under  the  guidance  of  Greater  China  Logistics  Director,

-  Through  large-scale  tenders  or  case-specific  RFQs,  negotiate  logistic  service  rates  and  conditions.
-  Analyze  rates  and  conditions  offers,  using  multiple  operational  scenarios；
-  Conduct  market  survey  for  new  services  providers；
-  Analyze  business  units’  logistics  operational  performances  and  propose  improvement；
-  Follow  up  issues  in  logistics  service  contracts  eｘecution,  take  efficient  and  effective  actions；
-  Support  to  logistics  audit  process  and  service  provider  HSEQ  assessment；
-  Visit  service  providers  when  necessary；  regular  visits  to  business  units’  site；
-  Updating  logistics  related  data  in  Central  Logistics  Information  Hub,  also  sharing  with  all  business  units  and  plants.
-  Other  tasks  and  projected  occasionally  assigned  from  management  when  there  is  necessity；

-  Solution  proposals  to  internal  clients’  logistics  issues  related  to  service  contracts；  with  sufficient  consideration  to  laws  and  regulations,  company  HSE  policies  and  other  controlling  policies；
-  Under  similar  logistic  operation  scenarios  and  requirements,  ensure  the  commercial  aspects,  such  as  rates,  terms  and  conditions,  of  logistics  solutions  are  on  reasonable  industrial  levels,  through  proper  benchmarking.
-  Service  provider  seleｃted  and  contracted  acceptable  to  company  HSEQ  standards.
-  Identification  of  logistics  resources  related  improvement  needs  and  drive  solutions  implementation；

-  Organized,  objective,  analytical,  efficient  and  result-oriented  working  style；  Strong  problem  solving  ability；  able  to  work  under  time  pressure；
-  Must  be  comfortable  with  large-volume  data  analysis,  and  with  tools  like  Excel,  databases…
-  Must  be  comfortable  going  through  sizable  articles  of  regulations,  contracts  and  documentation  in  both  Chinese  and  English.
-  Minimum  5  years’  chemical  logistics  related  experiences,  with  at  least  3  years’  experience  in  logistics  purchasing  responsibility；
-  Experience  in  bulk  vessel  chartering  is  a  definite  advantage.  Ideally  with  experience  in  international  chemical  or  logistics  firms；
-  A  good  understanding  to  international  transport  organization  is  required.
-  Ability  to  communicate  in  an  international  context；
-  A  colleague  degree,  ideally  with  certain  engineering  background；
-  A  good  command  of  English  in  both  writing  and  speaking；
