Technical Service Manager

The Role
The position reports to the Technical Manager in Jiangmen. You manage the deployment and deliverables of a skilled Technical Services team in China to ensure effective and timely delivery of technical services to customers, agents and internal stakeholders in China.
The Responsibilities :
· Focal point to co-ordinate all technical service requirements in China
· Liaise with direct sales personnel, agents and/or other Whitford sites
· Ensure the service delivery requirements are met before deployment
· Coach and train technical personnel for trouble shooting issues
· Maintain and update accurately and timely technical reporting system
The Requirements
· Bachelor degree with chemical background and/ or related working experience
· 10 years' experience in relevant industry ideally coating or paint with ability to lead technical service, of which at least 3 to 5 years of experience managing a team of technicians
· Knowledge of substrates and pretreatment methods, coating performance, production process, application skill and test method
· Adaptable and dynamic,open minded to innovate on ideas
· Strong planning and communication, a team player able to bring and keep the team together
· Proficient in both Mandarin and English, listening, speaking, reading and writing
· Willingness to travel within the region
